Advertising shows up on mobile phones

I understand you run AdSense. But I don’t understand why the ads only show up, so far, on our blog if you access it via mobile, on both I-phone and Android.

Also, ads are about 25% of the screen on mobile and literally obstruct the graphics at the top of the blog. Nice to have an ugly ad for gluten-free flour obscuring my 4-hour Photoshop project:)

More than happy to upgrade to No Ads but need to make sure that the ads showing up on Google are in fact driven by WordPress and not Google before I spend the money. Don’t want them to come up again and have wasted money.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi. Ads may also show up when you view your blog on a regular browser while you are logged out of WordPress.com. Perhaps you are seeing them on your mobile device because you are not logged in?

The the only way Google Ads can display on any free hosted WordPress.com blog is if WordPress.com initiated that display. http://en.support.wordpress.com/advertising/
Purchasing an No-Ads upgrade ought to remove the display of all advertising on your blog no matter who is viewing it.
