  Is Adsense not allowed on wordpress? I googled it a bit and found a forum that said wordpress does not allow you to use it. Is this true and if so what are some alternatives?

  No, you can’t use it. If you want advertising, you should self-host, for instance on WordPress.org (which this isn’t. This is WordPress.com). Have a look at this:

  Does WordPress insert advertisements in our posts?

  I’m new here don’t know all the ins and outs. I published a post http://auntiebswax.com/2011/10/14/comfy-cozy/ and when other linked to it there was a video ad at the end of the post.

  I don’t see the ad today. I’m really confused. Thanks for any information you can provide.

  You can buy a No Ads upgrade if you prefer those ads to dissapear:

  @airodyssey: Thanks. It seems the ad is there when I link to a specific post via Facebook and Twitter, but isn’t there when viewing the blog as a whole. Maybe when I become famous I can upgrade to No Ads status. :)
