ADVERTS ON MY PREMIUM WORDPRESS SITE
-
I have WordPress.com Premium and have just found a very invasive advertisment on my front page:
What is this all about?
Michael
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Your links go to “Sorry, not found” so we really have no idea.
If the ads you see have “About These Ads” on them as a link, then they are put there by WordPress.com. If they do not, then they were put there by malware on your browser and you need to disable all add-ons on your browser and re-enable them one by one till you find out which one is causing the problem. Then delete it.

I can’t see the images you’ve tried to link to with bit.ly short codes. It says “Not Found” and visiting your site while logged out doesn’t display any ads for me.
If you bought the Premium Bundle upgrade, that includes a No Ads upgrade. If you bought a Custom Design upgrade, that does not include a No Ads upgrade, which you will need to purchase separately.
Is it possible you are seeing WordPress.com’s revenue sharing advertising program WordAds since you have a Custom Domain? Take a look in your Dashboard>Settings>WordAds to see if it is enabled.
If you don’t see any of the above scenarios, please post back here.

Apologies folks – the two links above are now public. Here again – they certainly don’t look like WP adverts and no ‘About These Ads’
I have just run Firefox and IE (both logged out) and can see nothing amiss. Currently going through my Chrome plugins to see if this is the cause. I use Chrome almost exclusively to run 4 WP.ORG sites and oversee 10 or so WP.COM sites – never seen anything like this before ever. Malware?
Dashboard>Settings>AdControl is turned off

These are not ads from WordPress.com. Please disable your browser addons/extensions to see if that helps.

On first run through; disabling / enabling Chrome extensions it would appear to be the Chrome extension MeasureIt. The advert goes if turned off and returns when turned on. I shall remove it – I have Googled MeasureIt but cannot find any reference to anything similar – most strange.
