Advice for a noob please.

    Hi I just started my blog. However I’m an absolute tech failure. I’ve set up the web page as best I can and have done my first blog post.

    I’ve searched for it as well as my Web page word for word on Google and I can’t find it. If there is a simple solution I do apologise in advance. Just creating a reddit account was difficult enough for me.

    Anyways I’ll link the blog below. If anyone has any advice on the web page or the problem I listed above. Please enlighten me.

    Hi there,

    From what I can see you are off to a great start with your site, and I see nothing wrong with how you have set up your homepage and your blog page, they are both functioning correctly.

    Please note that it can take search engines 4-6 weeks to update their search indexes, so your site may appear in search results until they list your new URL since this is such a new site.

    If you wish to have Google list your site sooner you can do that by registering your site with them directly. More info here: https://wordpress.com/support/webmaster-tools/#google-search-console
