Advice needed on functionality issue…

Could anyone help me with a somewhat large problem?
I would like some advice on the best possible way to sort the information on my blog. Ideally I want to be able to make seperate posts within my existing pages (laforronpaul.wordpress.com), but it doesn’t seem possible.
I really like the layout of the blog, but the functionality of the page system is very limiting.
Any ideas or help is GREATLY appreciated!

What you want cannot be achieved on a wordpress.com blog. There is only one page (usually the front page but this can be changed) on our blogs that will automatically update with each new post that you make. All other pages you create sit outside the blog structure and are not dynamic and therefore they will not auto update. Pages are for static content that rarely, if ever, changes. Pages cannot be assigned categories. Moreover, pages lack the Google juice that your front page has.
If you want dynamic pages then you will be best served by hiring a web host and downloading free software from http://wordpress/org and then hacking it to suit.

Do you have a recommendation on how to best use wordpress in my particular case? Or do you know of a wordpress blog that may be somewhat similar to mine, done correctly, that I could take a glance at?

WordPress.com is a multi-user blogging platform and as our blogs all share the same “backbone” we are limited – functionality changes are not something that we can undertake here. From the expectations you provided in the two posts that you have made to the forum I truly think you would be better off hiring a web host and downloading the free software form http://wordpress.org That software is different from ours and wordpress.org templates can be edited.
