Advice on establishing new (family) site

I am a new user of WordPress. Have started a blog for professional use, but am so happy with WP that I want to shift family homepage from IWeb to WP. Established new family home page from my username for job blog, and now find that my profile info is not relevant for family page.
Would like to retain current http name for family page. How can I transfer to new user (myself with new login id) and keep same hhttp name?

Go to My Blogs in your Dashboard, hover your mouse icon over the blog you want to transfer and you’ll see the Transfer Blog option. Hope that helps!

When I go there, I get the following options: dashboard, new, comments, menus, widgets, random post, report as mature, and theme, but not transfer. Am I at wrong place?

Click on the Dashboard option. Then on the menu to your left you’ll see My Blogs. Click that and you’ll see your blogs. Hover your mouse icon over the name of the one you want to transfer and you’ll see the transfer option pop up. Click it and follow the directions.
