Advice On Video/Audio "Conversion" Software For PC, Windows 7 OS

  Word Press Community:

  What would be the best, and most compatible with WordPress blogs, PC software (Windows 7 OS) which would allow one to “clip” video and audio, and make video and audio file-type “conversions.”

  Specifically, I’m interested in finding a software program that will allow me to convert “C-Span” videos into files which can be posted at my WordPress blog, as well as other media types.

  I am hiddennplainsight.

  BTW, if you cannot make such a recommendation, could someone possibly direct me to an appropriate website, where I might find the information that I’m seeking.

  It really depends on how the c-span videos are being presented. If they are Flash videos (like youtube) that is more difficult than a quicktime video or something like that. One of the many reasons Flash is used for video is that it is easy to embed and hard to copy. Thus encouraging people to embed rather than download.
