Advice please – starting fresh and want a Theme with all demo content

    Hello. I’m not getting any support from WordPress for some reason, so I thought that I would try some of you helpful people.

    I have saved all of my content and thought that a site reset would present me with all the Themes holding their demo content that I can simply replace so that I can get a good, guided start.

    But if I click on a Theme and activate it there is content missing and it is without the demo content that makes it look like a good option.

    Any advice, please? I’m on the ‘Explorer’ plan

    TBH, demo content is hardly available when using Block themes. My thought is that because of the ability to completely change up how a site looks with blocks and patterns, having demo content may even get in the way when creating a site. However, to get an idea of what can be done on a particular theme, you can look at a theme’s showcase page and demo site (which unfortunately also may not offer much information).

    Thank you very much for your help Jennifer. I liked the look of the ‘Cottage Theme’.

    I’ll read up and see how I go on my own. I don’t think I’ll wait any longer for any help from WordPress itself.

When we load in the demo content, it can either completely overwrite your site so that it looks exactly like the demo website, or we can load in the demo content without overwriting the content that you’ve already created.
