Advise on adding business page to a blog

    Hi,

    I currently have a website with wordpress.com, that is essentially a blog. I am now in the process of opening a business, and would like to have a website that have
    1. A homepage with all the info about the business + contact form + feed from the blog.
    2. All the blog posts.
    How would you suggest I make the transition? Some of my questions –
    1. Is there a good theme (paid or otherwise) that will allow me to do this?
    2. Alternatively, should i use my current theme and create a static home page?

    Hi! What sort of business website is it intended to be? Most of the recent “recommended” themes we have tend to be quite flexible in terms of template editing; though of course your current theme can also handle the static front page with your business information too.

    Either way it sounds like you’d be looking at setting up a static front page and using a Blog Posts block or Query Loop block to show a few posts from the feed on the front page, in addition to having your main “Blog” page – are you looking to change up the appearance of the site completely? If you’d like to let us know more about what you’re aiming for, we’re happy to make some suggestions that may be helpful.
