affilate links for betfair

  my blog is about investing on sporting exchanges i want to offer my readers links to exchanges like betfair and of course be the affiliate to make a little money from my blog, please tell me this is allowed otherwise i have just wasted many hours of my life. this is the only way to make money form my blog.
  my blog is not purposely made to affiliate but surely i can have links with an affilaite ID cant i ?

  Those affiliate links will get your blog suspended. So yes you wasted your time here

  If you want affiliate links, you need to hire your own host and install the free WordPress.ORG software – what you want to do can’t be done on WordPress.COM – very much against the Terms of Service

  so wordpress dont want people to make money off there blogs?
  im outraged

  so as soon as i hire my own host i can affiliate out my nostrils and still be associated with wordpress, there are no ethics there its just wordpress wanting me to pay for a host

  i shall have to close my blog, there must be other blog platforms that allow the creater of the content to affiliate with websites,

  You should have read the Terms of Service

  As I told you above – you can move to a WordPress.ORG based platform and affiliate to your hearts content – just not on WordPress.COM

  im still in a learning phase and the .org option sounds complexed

  i am now reading that free hosting is defo not the way to go

  i dont mind paying £100 a year or so i suppose, i might break even with affiliate capabilities

  i guess i need to find a good host first? and can i import all my content from wordpress.com?

  trading is what i know and i just wanted to make a bit of change affiliating at the same time as sharing knowledge ,hosting a website seems like alot of work with no guarantees of earning anything. and i am a novice when it comes running a website

  i may just stick with trading, i shall have a think and some sort of period of reflection
