  I put the affiliate banner widget in the text part like it said online and it won’t show up on. my site. My site is http://www.cherishthechaos.com

  It looks like your site is on the self-hosted WordPress.org instead of WordPress.com which is what’s supported here in these forums (see https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/ for the differences between the two).

  Depending on the plan you have with your web hosting provider Bluehost, they might be able to help you out with your issue. You can also go to https://wordpress.org/support/ where you’ll find extensive WordPress.org documentation. There’s also https://wordpress.org/support/forums/ where you’ll find users with more expertise and experience with WordPress.org.
