Affiliate Banners won't show in sidebar widget.

  When I try to add an affiliate banner to a text widget on my sidebar only the HTML text format displays on my page. The banner will not show as an image.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi Rachael,

  Certain code is automatically stripped out when added to widgets, for security, and may be what happened here. You can find a full list of allowed code, and more on the reasoning for limiting what is/isn’t allowed, here:

  I’m happy to see that you’ve now added a linked image in the sidebar of your site. Did you manage to resolve this by yoursefl?

  I did figure that banner out, but your link helped me realize why my other banner would not work.
