Affiliate linking

    Hi I recently joined amazon affiliate and I am looking to add some affiliate banners to my site. Amazon has coded their banners in iframe and JS. Every time I add the code the the widget section to my site, the banner doesn’t show up. How do I add Iframe banners or is there another way to add banners?

    Hi there,

    We don’t allow banner ads from advertising networks, but affiliate links are fine as long as it’s relevant to the content of your site, i.e. a link to a book on Amazon in the context of a book review, and as long as the main purpose of your site is not just to drive traffic to affiliate sites.

    The Amazon widget code won’t work here. Instead, you need to select the Text option for the affiliate link. That will give a plain HTML link and image that you can add here, either directly to a post or page in the HTML editor, or into a Text widget.
