Affiliate links

Hi all, please help.
I have just set up my website for dog friendly holiday accommodation. I have just joined an affiliate program with a certain company. They have given me links to show on my website to take the customers to them. However, what do I do with these links? I’ve tried adding them in a page but they just come up as text. Any ideas?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

1. WordPress.com allows bloggers to insert text affiliate links within post and page content to most third-party affiliate programs, provided they are not the primary content of the site in question.
2. Image affiliate links in posts and pages and any banners, affiliate links in sidebar or footer widget areas, are still considered to be advertising and are not allowed on WordPress.com blogs.
Affiliate marketing banners and any and all advertising outside of WordAds at WordPress.com are not allowed. No blogger initiated advertising is allowed on WordPress.com blogs. The only advertising program at WordPress.com is called WordAds and it’s for blogs on their own domains.
