Affiliate Links
-
Hi,
This is my blog https://way4cash.wordpress.com/.
I have read some restrictions in affiliate linking in free blog. Please check my blog.I am trying to build a review about some websites like PTC, Freelance, Blogging, Crowd sourcing, etc., in my blog. I need to put some affiliate links inside the posts(not in sidebar/footer) as a primary content & review of that website. It’s related to ‘How to make money with Legit websites’. Is it possible here?
If not give me some other solution with wordpress. If i have a 3rd party domain, hosting & installed WordPress means, can i use all kind of affiliate links in my WordPress blog?
Thanks in advance.

Hi there,
Affiliate links are allowed on WordPress.com as long as the primary purpose of your blog is to create original content:
We do have an advertising program called WordAds, which you can read more about here:
Advertising outside of WordAds at WordPress.com is not allowed. For full details, please see:
http://wordpress.com/types-of-blogs/
If you require other advertising, you might be interested in a self-hosted (WordPress.org) installation. There are no restrictions on advertising if you setup a self-hosted WordPress.org blog instead of a WordPress.com blog, but there are some added responsibilities. Please see this link to learn about the differences:
We have hosting recommendations at the following link if you are interested:
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks!

Hi,
Thanks for your valuable response.
Please Check again: https://way4cash.wordpress.com/I have decided to start my blog as a Affiliate Marketing Blog in wordpress.com. Because I have seen a rule that own reviews of an site and affiliate links are allowed here. right!
Please tell me your final words. I can go with that.

Thanks again.

I think it would be safer for you to create the site on a self-hosted WordPress.org site so that you can have more liberty in what you want to do. As the site grows, it might be considered a get rich quick scheme site which is a violation of our Terms of Service:

Before you get too far into building the site, I’d recommend exporting it over to WordPress.org.
Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!
