Affiliate links

  Hello, I have been told by a number of people using my blog that when they click on any links I post that these are affiliate links which redirect to other websites before going to the website I was linking to. Is there any way I can get rid of these as I have no idea why they are there? I only have the basic free blogging package, is it linked to that?

  Hi @gregjharris,

  According to a member of staff, WordPress.com sometimes uses Skimlinks which causes this.

  “You can get rid of that with the no-ads feature of any premium plan: https://wordpress.com/plans”
