Affiliate Links on premium WordPress Blog?

Can I put paid affiliate links on premium wordpress blog?
I could easily just get a domain, and hosting, but running through WordPress is an ideal option for me as I’m only using the hosting to host a WP blog.
I write reviews on music production tools – as I’m a music producer. Some of the products I write reviews about I get to test from the manufacture, and I also get an affiliate link where I get a commission on sales and also the manufactures can track the customers I’m sending their way.
I know it can’t be done on free blogs, but if I have a domain and pay the hosting am I allowed to?
This is not a spam blog, like the ones you see all over the Internet. I actually write quality articles for my users.

Yes. If you purchase web hosting and set up your own wordpress.org install you can have advertising. See here > http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.org bloggers. -

Note – you don’t pay for hosting here – If you are referring to Domain Mapping – that is only for mapping and not for hosting – you are still hosted here at WordPress.COM and @TT’s original answer holds – you are still bound by the Terms of Service here

Thank you for the replies. I think I’ll stick with regular hosting and install WordPress on that.
