Affiliate networks

I’m trying to decide between a self-hosted WordPress site or the hosted Personal package, but one key decider will be whether or not I can run affiliate ads through networks such as Affiliate Window. I have read about WordAds but I specifically want to run ads through the Affiliate Window and another couple of networks, and I am unsure whether those are allowed on the hosted WordPress.com sites?

@jennify00 – As far as I now, advertisements from third-party ad networks like Google AdSense, OpenX, Lijit, etc. are not allowed on WordPress.com.
However, affiliate links are allowed on WordPress.com as long as the primary purpose of your blog is to create original content.
When blogging about books you’re reading, music you love, clothes that strike your fancy, gadgets you’re drooling over, or whatever interests you and your readers, feel free to post relevant affiliate links using either text or images.
