  Hello there! I was looking into creating a blog that will contain testimonials and a link to our Amway business. I did some looking into the plans and it looks like I may have to go to the e-commerce plan. But I’m not entirely sure and would like guidance from a WordPress.com representative. I would greatly appreciate it and WordPress.com has been a great blogging tool for me with my hobbies and I would definitely like to use it as a tool for our e-commerce business. Please and thank you!

  Hi there!

  It depends on how exactly do you envision this. If you’d like to sell products directly from your site then you’d want to consider plan Business (where you can install a plugin like WooCommerce) or eCommerce, that comes with WooCommerce and some pre-installed extensions to make the store creation easier.

  If what you’re looking for is a simple site with a link to another page with products, then you may be just fine with plan Premium, or even Personal.

  Hi fresatomica! Thank you so much for your quick reply! I really appreciate it!

  Actually, the latter is what I was thinking. Our business already has its own site where people can create accounts, make orders, etc. So I want that functionality to stay on our business site.

  I want to make a personal blog with our experiences on using the products and also add testimonies from our customers. That way we can show others the testimonies via social proof than just word of mouth. Also, if our customers wanted to share our business with others, they can share the blog as well to their friends.

  Does that help break it down?

  Hi there,

  If the store is located on a different site already and the only thing you need is a blog to compliment the store, any of our plans would work for you, even the free plan. I would suggest the personal plan because it would remove ads from the blog and provide you live chat access to support via our Happiness Engineers.
