Affinity Demo Data

    Hello,

    I am using the Affinity 1.0.4 theme for my website.
    Installed the theme but can’t have the page similar to demo.
    Don’t you provide demo data like other themes(media, posts, pages) to import so that I can set the pages for demo?
    How to set demo data/pages?
    Please help ASAP.

    Hi there,

    I can definitely import settings and content from the theme demo site for you. Before I go ahead: Can you confirm that you’re happy for me to delete any existing content from melissabolona.wordpress.com?

    As soon as I get confirmation, I’ll go ahead to import the data from the demo site.

    But I want to do the same thing in my self hosted website too..
    Please let me know how to do that? Do you provide an XML file?

    About plugin installation : you don’t allow external plugin to install in this free hosting, right?

    We don’t have a quick setup method or import file available for self-hosted sites; it has to be set up manually.

    These forums are for sites hosted on WordPress.com. Affinity has been submitted to the WordPress.org directory, and once it’s accepted it’ll have its own support forum , but until then, if you need help with the self-hosted version of Affinity, you can post in the WordPress.org general themes forum:

    That’s right, we have many plugins pre-installed on WordPress.com, but it’s not possible to install third-party ones:
