Affinity Theme Photo Backgrounds
-
I chose the theme Affinity because I really liked being able to scroll through the blogs with the pictures in the back (picture background with white block of text in front), but my blog just seems to be a dense block of text with pictures inserted onto the white background.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
The Affinity theme is not designed to allow the visitor to be “able to scroll through the blogs with the pictures in the back (picture background with white block of text in front).” That description only applies to the header area of the front page, which displays the tagline in large italic font against either
- 1. the site header, if the front page is set to display the latest posts (as your is), or
- 2. a featured image, if a static page is set as the front page.
In the Affinity demo, the other text seen over the images as you scroll down are the titles of the pages selected to appear in the optional front page panels.

Hey falishasblog
It looks like you might have started another thread under a different account for a similar site here – was that also you? :)
If so, it looks like you’ve successfully set up the panels on that other site as musicdoc1 described, using the Theme Settings section of the Customizer.
Are you building two similar sites, and having trouble with one? Or have you changed gears and are stopping one site in favor of the other?
