Hello @africa2020,
Once you delete/deactivate your account you cannot use the Email address associated with this account again.If you just want to start a new blog, you can delete your current site instead of deleting your account.
To delete a site/blog, go to My Sites > Settings > Delete Site(at the very bottom of the page). Or just click here: https://wordpress.com/settings/general/
or here:
https://wordpress.com/settings/delete-site/YOURSITENAME.wordpress.comReplace YOURSITENAME with the actual name of the blog from your url.
NOTE: To delete a WordPress.COM site/blog you must be logged in as an Admin under the exact same username account that registered the blog.
If you cannot login to your account, and you have forgotten the password then you can reset your password by going here: https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword
If you do not remember the email ID and username associated with your account and want to recover your account then go here:
https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery. Someone from the WordPress staff will contact you via email on the email address provided by you on the What email address should we contact you at? field.You can read more about account recovery here:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/More information on deleting sites here:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/Deleting a site/blog is an irreversible process. Once your site/blog is deleted it cannot be recovered again. Even the blog address of the deleted site cannot be used again by anyone. (Not even by the owner). This is done to prevent your blog from being impersonated by someone else.
If you wish to keep your blog address and still delete all the contents of your blog, then you might wanna consider emptying your site instead of deleting it.
You can follow the instructions given here to empty your site:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/empty-site/Hope this helps :)

@africa2020 – And you can have multiple sites under the same username account.
If you don’t want the current site to display, you can either delete it, as @otpidusprime mentioned with all the various warnings, or better to simply change that site’s current Privacy settings to Private to keep it out of search engines and away from site visitors. Here’s how you can do that: https://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/
You can register a new site under the same account here: https://wordpress.com/start/
@otpidusprime – Hi there, if you are quoting from another forum volunteer’s reply, it is polite (and giving credit where it is due) to link back to the original forum answer. Thanks for your consideration.
Also, I have found during my 9 years volunteering in the forums that a short and to the point answer to the question asked is better received and can be followed up later if needed. How you approach replies is of course entirely up to you. Cheers! :)

@justjennifer
I am not quoting anyone’s answer in this thread. I am just using, what i learnt from @timetheif.I always give credit’s to the original volunteer/staff if i use their answer.
Thanks for the tip! :)

And it’s much appreciated.
After 9 years, I can probably quote other forum volunteers’ replies in my sleep, especially tt’s because she is so omnipresent in the forums and really knows her stuff. :) So when I see a forum reply whose wording is the same or nearly the same in content or tone as someone else’s reply, it stands out. IMHO – it’s much better to craft your own personal voice and touch rather than repeat anothers’. All the best.

@justjennifer
Yes… her replies are really unique even when somebody does not credit her, her answers can be easily identified :D
Sure i will frame my answers differently from now on.Thank You So Much :)
