after 40 hours still no post imported from blogger

i was moving from Blogger to WordPress.com, so I did as mentioned in the Import tool in admin area. Exported the xml from blogger and imported in wordpress. Its been around 40 hours and still no post from blogger is showing up. does it normally take this much time or something is wrong ? please advice. thanks

Hi there,
Did you select the Blogger option on the import screen on your site?
I don’t see any signs of a failed import, but the file might not have contained any data that our importer recognised. Can you please try creating a new export at Blogger using these instructions:
http://www.google.com/support/blogger/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=97416Then make sure you select the Blogger option on the import screen.

Thanks for the reply. I followed the procedure as mentioned in: http://www.google.com/support/blogger/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=97416 , and uploaded the export file in the Blogger Option in Import tool, just now.
Will update you what happens in the next 24 hours.

It’s solved now. Posts now have been imported into wordpress.com. What I did is, logged in from a separate account and imported the blog file, again about 10 mins ago, and voila, it worked instantly.
But, when I did the same from this wordpress.com id, it failed twice ! Is it because, i have two wordpress.com domains ? Or, is it some feature I have been unaware of ?
Please advice.

It could be because it’s your other account that owns the blog. But as both accounts are admins, either one should be able to do an import as far as I know.
In any case, I’m glad you managed to get it imported.
