After 9 months, my website still hasn’t been indexed by Google
-
Title. By now it should have been indexed! The blog isn’t large, but it’s not empty either. I thought that empty blogs weren’t indexed, and that I had to pay for a domain (I intend to do that, but not now).
I’ve just added my blog in the Google Search Console. Is that going to work? I’d like experienced users and volunteers to estimate the likelyhood of my blog showing up on Google. What else do I have to do and how much do I have to wait? Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
I checked your site, and there isn’t much content that has been added since you first created it 10 months ago. To assist with getting your site indexed, I would submit your site’s sitemap.xml to Google and other search engines: https://wordpress.com/support/site-verification-services/I would also check out our support guide on gaining traffic, as that will help your site gain traction on search engines as well:
https://wordpress.com/support/getting-more-views-and-traffic/
Here is a general support page on not only getting your site indexed but higher on search engine rankings:https://wordpress.com/support/category/grow-your-audience/get-found-in-search-engines/
It may take a few weeks, but all the above guides should get your site indexed and performing on Google, Bing, etc.Hope this helps.
