After changing to a new domain name, my website crashed; it can only stay on the backend login page, and once the username and password are entered, it redirects to the old domain and displays a 404 page. So how can I solve these problems? I’ve replaced the domain name in my database and files, but the login problem still can’t be solved.

    Hi there,

Thanks for explaining what’s happening. That definitely sounds a bit alarming.

In general, if you recently updated the DNS records for your domain, it can sometimes take up to 72 hours for the changes to fully propagate across the internet. During that time, the domain can still load the old server , which can lead to redirects or login issues like the ones you’re seeing.

I took a quick look, and at the moment I’m not seeing any websites under the account you contacted us from. Because of that, I’m not able to view the site details just yet.

Could you please let me know which domain name you recently changed to? That way, I can check things from my end, and confirm what’s happening behind the scenes.
