After Domain Transfer Cannot Access website

I transferred my domain to WordPress, but I have not been able to access it online. It simply isn’t there. I just get this message:
“404. That’s an error.
The requested URL / was not found on this server. That’s all we know.“
So, right now I am paying WordPress for a site and for the domain and cannot see the site online at all. I have tried to read various help topics and tried to figure it out, but I am at a loss. Things don’t make sense to me, and UI need help.
