After Domain Transfer Site Showing 404
-
It’s set as the primary domain and I have attempted to “point to WordPress” over a dozen times. I waited thru yesterday to see if maybe something will populate to show on my end. Cleared cache, everything showing in other topics. Today, I even detached and then reattached the domain, still nothing. I believe there was an issue from me not deleting my previous GoDaddy wordpress before doing the transfer. Now myhumanatm.wordpress.com is showing fine, but the main domain myhumanatm.com is only showing a 404. Help?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Is your domain on WordPress or Godaddy? make sure the A record is pointing to a target ip , and make sure the nameservers are pointed correctly . or better yet let me see a screenshot of your domain DNS record.

It used to be on GoDaddy but I’ve transferred it over to WordPress. I’ve tried manually entering the name servers, but it keeps popping the button back to “use WordPress.com name servers.”

I’m not sure it will let me send the screenshot here. But it is using WordPress.com name servers. DNS records are all myhumanatm.com, IP address, and a public-api one.

Also note DNS-changes can take up to 72 hours to propagate. Constantly changing those settings are only slowing down the propagation.

Oh… I did not realize it reset it. I will leave it be for a few days and hope for the best.

All fixed. It was this last step I was missing. The moment I restored default, all better. :)
