After editing, half of post vanishes and is moved to drafts
-
I wrote a post and it showed up fully (after v slow posting) – then I went back to edit it, and suddenly half of it disappeared and it no longer showed up on my blog, but only in my drafts folder. What’s going on, and can I retrieve the full post?

I would try hitting the Back button till you get to the original, full post (if you can). Then select ALL of the contents of the text box, copy them all (control A, control C) and then hit Publish, while it’s all still highlighted. That might work. Let us know.
Always copy everything just before hitting Publish, or use an offline blog editor like blogdesk. That way you have a copy and can just paste it in if some of it goes wonky.
Also: what browser and version are you using? It might be related, though it’s a longshot.

Have a similar problem – i tried to publish something and it went into the draft status. In there I couldn’t access it -> page not found.
Then when i try to publish again same thing, it’s disapeared. For a short time it exists on the main page, but when I go back to my dashboard no post was published.
my page: mmanews.wordpress.com
any help would be apreciated!

I am using Firefox. I tried going back to History but the post is still truncated. And for some reason the last reply I wrote to this forum is also not showing up. Something seems to be amiss with the system.
