After having this site for about five years, we are suddenly being spammed by up to 50 junk e-mails a day.

  Many are from bogus addresses, but we also get messages from WordPress asking us to ‘Please moderate blog post title’. How can we make all of these e-mails stop?

  Hi @63coupe, I’m looking at testforcorvettes.wordpress.com and not seeing this. Can you allow a few of those to accumulate so we can take a look?

  Also, if they’re pingbacks, you can turn those off — you can sometimes get those from your own site, in fact, so just be aware of what those look like. Here’s how to turn them off, and there’s an example of a pingback just above this part of the article:

  If these aren’t legitimate pingbacks you’re seeing, and if any spam is coming through, please mark them as spam so our system can learn.
