  Hi, no you can not reuse a URL after you delete a site.

  Deleting a site permanently removes it and you’ll never be able to re-use its WordPress.com address (such as yourgroovysite.wordpress.com).

  If you want to keep your URL I recommend deleting your site’s content and starting over with a blank canvas.

  Also, if you want to use the site under a different user then you can create a new account and add that account as an Admin or other user role.

  Juli, i really need the same name, for weeks i tried to find how move the website to another user and i could not find the way.

  i am the same owner but i need the website that i deleted to be under another user account. please help.

  Hi Claudia, sorry, but there’s really nothing that can be done once your site has been deleted. WordPress.com does not allow for reuse of deleted .wordpress.com URLs.

  You can try to register a custom domain and map it to your site. It’s an easy process and comes with a small yearly fee. This way your website URL would be wisapexpcj.com instead of yournewsite.wordpress.com.
