After I mapped a subdomain, my blog is not loading

  I had created a blog with the name zywietech.wordpress.com

  Then I mapped it to my subdomain blog.zywietech.com after adding a CNAME record.

  After mapping, I was prompted to pay $13 which I did. Post payment, I also changed the primary domain to blog.zywietech.com.

  After completing these changes, when I tried to access blog.zywietech.com I received a ‘DNS lookup failed’ error. Please help.

  It looks like the CNAME record may not be set correctly. It’s not coming up when I look for CNAME records for zywietech.com:

  http://d.pr/i/1jMTE

  Can you make sure the following record is set at A Small Orange (looks like that’s where your domain is pointing):

  CNAME blog.zywietech.com alias of zywietech.wordpress.com.

  Hi Jeremy,

  We had done the mapping on crazydomains.in – the DNS provider from whom we purchased the zywietech.com domain.
  Asmallorange is where our website is hosted. I could not figure out where to map it on asmallorange.

  I could not paste the image of the mapping done on crazydomains in this text box. Can you let me know an easy way to share an image with you?

  Hi Shailendra,

  Since your domain zywietech.com is pointed to A Small Orange, you’ll need to set up the subdomain’s CNAME record there (rather than with your domain registrar crazydomains.in). You can submit a support ticket to A Small Orange to ask them to add that CNAME record for you.
