After mapping a domain

  Hey, I’m new to WordPress and domains in general really and would appreciate a little bit of help.

  I bought a domain from Namecheap, I mapped it to wordpress to remove the .wordpress in the name and now I’m trying to install wordpress on my computer.

  The problem is when I try to access my Cpanel, by using /Cpanel at the end of my domain, it says it can’t be found, and as far as I know I need to be able to access Cpanel to be able to set up a database, use FTP, etc.

  If anyone could clarify any of this to help me get closer to creating my website It would be really helpful. Thanks.

  We can’t help with that. We provide support only for free hosted WordPress.com blogs here. We do not provide support for WordPress.ORG software installs. If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.
