After registering I can't access the blog I created!

    Hi, I just tried to register keinewerbungschweiz.wordpress.com, after clicking the create button I got the confirmation “keinewerbungschweiz.wordpress.com is yours” I clicked to go to the dashboard and it required a login. I used the password generated and saved on lastpass and it doesn’t work. Should be “my password – won’t post here” but it doesn’t work. So I tried to register again but the form says that the blog name “keinewerbungschweiz” is reserved now! If I try to register just the username, I get the same error “not available”. This is quite unfortunate, to say the least. Can you help?

    In case the creator of “keinewerbung” did the same mistake it would be nice to release both names and leave them to be used… It’s very easy to check, nobody posted anything or no activation link or username associated to them.

    It’s quite a pity to have several registered but lost names like in this case, because the registration process is buggy.

    If you want I make a video to reproduce the problem, because this is quite a huge bug! Thank you and cheers, Paolo

    Thx raincoaster, problem is that I can’t login. Nor I can do “forgot password”. The system doesn’t find my login… as no login was created. No idea what happened but one thing is sure, the name I registered is lost. I could not even use the special form wordpress provides to restore the account as it said the wordpress name was not found… :( well as you can see I registered a new name, but it’s really suboptimal.

    keinewerbungschweiz.wordpress.com is connected to a WordPress.com username–but not the one you are currently writing to me from.

    If you believe you registered the site and somehow got it connected to a different e-mail address than the one connected to the account you are writing me from, let me know and we can move this conversation to a private Account Recovery ticket.
