After saving wordpress menu i get a screen full of strange symbols
-
Hello,
Can someone help? I have been trying to solve this by myself for awhile now, but can’t solve this.
When I add something new to WordPress menu or remove something and then save the menu, the page does not reload normally and be saved, but instead I get a screen full of strange symbols.
I have tried with Chrome and Firefox, cleaned cache and cookies etc. but this does not help.
I could not add a screenshot here?

Here is example of the symbols what I get after saving wordpress menu:
FMpf$ 8:{T~ic-HMG&vcs{Y~1!E+LN6+i7Nnߡ6nm
Whole page is full of these symbols and I cant see anything else.

Hi,
Which site is this on? I’m not seeing any WordPress.com associated with the account you’re using for these forums.

Thanks. Because that site isn’t hosted here at WordPress.com we’re limited in the support we can give. However, those types of symbols tend to be caused when there’s a language encoding setting that’s not right. That might be something your web host can look at for you.
It can also be caused pasting in non-alphanumeric characters, or content from a non-WordPress source like Word.
If you’ve recently installed a translation plugin, that could also be the issue.
