  Hey guys/ gals

  I am a web developer but I have not used WP before.
  I have to make a friends band site, and figured I would look at WP as he says he wants it too look like a blog.

  So with me needing a blog , gig list calender, news, images and videos ( you tube) it should fit WP without any problems right?
  Now given what i need is it best to get a free template and rip it to pieces and replace my own images, or build one from scratch for what i need?

  Thanks for any advice, I just do not want to waste days doing somehting I need not bother doing.
