    After the contact form is submitted, I would like to have a friendly note on the page saying…..’ Thanks for contacting us, we will contact you in a few days’ …something like that

    Hi there,

    The default Contact Form on WordPress.com is provided by Jetpack so the note you’re seeing on the page is pre-coded.

    To change the text, you need to install another contact form plugin that allows you to customize the response page. And that requires you to have an upgraded Business Plan on WordPress.com in order to install a plugin.
