After the mapping can I send and receive e-mail using your server?
-
I’m mapping my domain to use a domain name I already own, I have purchased the upgrade. My domain’s provider informs me that changing the DNS I’ll loose the e-mail service. After the mapping can I receive and send mail using your servers?

Hi there, we don’t offer email service directly, but you can add email through a third party to your custom domain by following our guide.
If you need further help or have any questions, just let me know.

Thank you Kathryn. I’ve an italian provider, the easier way is to receive from you the references to be set on the host WWW so that typing “www.mydomain.com” it reaches the server where wordpress has the space. Could you give me that references? Thanks, Gianluigi

Hi Gianluigi, I’m not completely sure what your provider is asking for, but the way to connect email service to your WordPress.com domain is by adding your email provider’s MX records to your Custom DNS settings. Your email host will need to provide you with the correct MX records for their server, and then entered in the format specified in our guide to adding email.
You may want to send your provider the link above to be sure they understand what is needed from them in order to set up email here on your custom domain.
If you need further help, just let me know.

Sorry again, my provider has modified the dns settings, but I can’t watch my blog using my domain name. I made the reset of my browser, cleaning chache etc., but nothing happened, the message is “too many redirects”. Can you help me? Thanks, Gianluigi

Hi there, I’m seeing your site OK through your custom domain here:
It can take anywhere from a few hours up to 24 hours for DNS changes to fully propagate. Please give it a try again and let me know if you still have any issues.
Whenever you’re ready, you can set gianluigicontin.com as your primary domain under Store > Domains:
