Aftermath of deleting a media file
-
Hi, everyone. My company recently sent out a newsletter for one of our programs. We linked to a media file hosted on our WordPress site, but this morning someone deleted the media file in order to replace it with an updated version.
Obviously, the link in the newsletter now takes readers to a broken page. Is there a way to make a page under that url to redirect visitors to the correct url? I know that’s possible with the right code, but is that possible in WordPress?
Does anyone have any other suggestions on how I could solve this problem? I may be going at it the wrong way.
