Age appropriate advertisement

How can I ensuring that ads on my site are appropriate for children. My blog is designed specifically for children and so I would like to make sure that the ads displayed are not “adult” content?

Hi there. To start with, logged in users will seldom see ads when they visit your site. Second, pornography and linking to pornographic sites are against the WordPress.com terms of service, so they also don’t display those kinds of advertisements on our sites. If you do spot an ad that you think is inappropriate there’s usually a link in the ad that will let you report it, or you can take a screenshot of the ad, upload it to your media library and link to it here in the forum to draw staff’s attention to it.
But there is no way to pro-actively control which ads appear. Our only option in that regard is the No Ads upgrade which will prevent any ads from appearing on your site. You’ll need to upgrade to the Premium package to get the No Ads upgrade.
