  Hello! Due to the sensitive nature of the material on my site, I am trying to upload the age-verify plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/age-verify/installation/); however, the My Site portal says I cannot upload plugins to wordpress? Please let me know what I need to do! Thank you so much, Gemma

  All available plugins on WordPress.com are already built in and you don’t have the option to install third-party plugins here.

  On WordPress.org, which is self hosted, you do have that capability. This page explains the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org in more detail.
