aged page

My homepage does not update every time I post something new. It stays static and visitors would think I do not write anymore. Instead one has to go to my archive to see new stuff which is kinda ironic. Please help?

Could you give us a link to your wordpress.com blog? We can’t help if we cannot check it out.

You might want to link your username here in the forums to your blog in “View your profile.” Enter http://gainsaid.wordpress.com/ into the website field and click “update profile.” That way we can easily find your blog when helping you.
The latest post I see is beep beep dated today, the 27th. Do you have any you made after that?
If so, check the timestamp on them to make sure they are not scheduled to post in the future (manage > posts). If they do not show up in the main window, click on “status” at the top and then check in private and drafts to make sure they are not somehow still listed as drafts.

@gainsaid
(1) You do not have the Recent Posts widget in your sidebar. It displays links to as many posts of your most recent posts up to 15 as you set it for.
(2) In addition there is a Top Posts widget that you can set to display links up to 12 posts with.
(3) And if you choose to place the Categories widget and/or Category Cloud in the sidebar to you create other ways for your readers to access your posts.-> Presentation -> Widgets
(1) scroll down and locate the widget of your choice in the Available widgets box
(2) drag it out of that box into the sidebar widget box
(3) click on the blue and white icon and the widget will open
(4) configure the widget with the settings of your choice
(5) click on the X on the top right hand corner of the widget to close it
(6) click “Save Changes”
(7) view your blogHTH :)
Aside from that I can see dates on your posts.

Thanks everyone for your help. I really appreciate it. I looked in again today and everything seems to be ok. Probably justa problem with my network connection or something. I can get back to writing some more now. I’ll update the blog with a ‘recent posts’ widget ASAP.

YAY! I checked out your blog and saw the widgets in the sidebar – all is well. Thanks for the thanks and happy blogging! :)
