'ago' in publish date won't translate
-
I set the main language to Dutch. The words ‘week’, ‘month’ and ‘year’ are translated to my own language, but still the publish date still says “…. ago”. How can I translate the word ‘ago’ to its Dutch equivalent?

Hi epoolman,
You can see what I mean on: http://www.italynotes.nl/campanie/napels/toledo-metro-station/
On the left you can see when I published the post. I want the word ‘ago’ to be translated to ‘geleden’.

Hi @matthijshk, it looks like you are using WordPress but you are not hosted here at WordPress.com.
These forums are for WordPress.com websites hosted here at WordPress.com. For self-hosted WordPress.org websites, such as yours, I would suggest asking for help in the volunteer-based WordPress.org forumshttps://wordpress.org/support/.
Difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org
With that said, you can try this plugin that will allow you to search for ‘a go’ and manually translate that string – https://wordpress.org/plugins/polylang-theme-strings/
