  Does WordPress allow AI to access my blogs?

  WP.com: Yes
  Jetpack: No
  Correct account: Yes

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  adding to my question… when first replied (by AI) to my question… it said yes to Jetpack… above reply says no to Jetpack…🤨🧐

  I believe WordPress is currently blocking the Bing web crawler from scraping WordPress blogs. However, other AI-based bots may have access to your site and content. Unfortunately, there are limits to the protection that can be provided currently.

  Separately from outside AI systems, we bloggers do now have access to AI features in the editor using the new “AI Assistant” block.

  I’ve personally found it useful for proofreading my posts before I hit publish. It also points out when I am using a passive voice or when I am rambling and not getting to the point.

  Hey there,

  As mentioned by @parkdanil, we disallow AI bots from indexing your site using robots.txt. You can manage your Robots.txt file on a Creator or Entrepreneur plan here. It may not be possible to block all AI scraping, but we prevent it as best we can.

  Additionally, we do not share any site data, only your prompt when you use AI features such as the AI Assistant Block. You can learn more about how we use these AI features in our AI guidelines here.
