AI-generated manual excerpts

    Is it possible not only to set the tone of the AI-generated text but also to set the reading level? I strive to make my content understandable at a 4th-8th grade reading level, especially since my readers come from English-as-a-second-language backgrounds. The excerpts provided by AI require a more sophisticated knowledge of the English language. Can this be ‘dumbed down’ a bit?

    Instead of relying on AI, why don’t we write texts and whatever ourselves anymore? What makes us believe AI is the holy grail? Did we become that lazy in a short time?
