AI Search Bots getting blocked?

    So, I currently have 2 sites using WooCommerce. As I’m sure you know, WC has issues in displaying the important bits of an ecommerce site, such as the price and so-forth. For humans, not an issue, but for AI search bots, it’s a biggie. My current host seems to be blocking pretty much all AI bots. Yesterday I finally got WP Rocket to display WC perfectly and it could be “read” by Claude, Chat etc… But today, nothing. No updates, no plugin installs, nothing changed and the excuse I get from the host is they have to do it due to traffic.

    So, has anyone had any experience of this with WordPress.com? Can bots read WC perfectly using this hosting?

    welcome to the internet but there is no way to really block search engines, bots, AI or whatever, … you can only ask them to ignore your site.

    OK, so thanks. But, yes if they block the known IP. Secondly the issue is that WooCommerce using javascript effectively blocks a bot from seeing the product details. Using something like WP Rocket can get over this by showing the full cached version. That worked yesterday, but not today. So, it’s not the plugin, it’s not the site and the host says they do actively block, so…
