AJAX Blog In Reader

  Can I turn off the AJAX window in my reader? I understand they’re trying to keep things fresh, but can this ‘feature’ be turned off?
  Does this count as a “view hit” to the person whose blog I click on? And by the way, I get this: “Sorry, this blog only allows us to show the first section of a post” more often than not which means I have to do extra steps to get to the blog post I wanted to read in the first place.
  It’s annoying and it doesn’t improve the user experience at all.

  I saw that after I posted my message, of course; because the search algorithm in the 3-step process didn’t bring that up. I see that I’m not the only one who doesn’t like it, and I also see that there’s nothing WP is planning to do to unfuck the problems with the new reader (as displayed by the comments from jackiedana https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/reader-changed/page/3?replies=119#post-1509203 ).
