Akismet and Spam

    Other users have commented on the increase in spam. Is my Akismet up to date? The stuff i am getting lately is of this ilk, generally coming from someone who apparently does not speak English very well:

    I have read several just right stuff here. Definitely value
    bookmarking for revisiting. I wnder howw much attempt you pput
    to make one of these magnificent informative site.

    Of course, we do not want to lose any valid comments, but posts like this one are obviously generic and not relevant to my site:

    Mark spam posts as “spam” and do not simply delete them. Akismet will learn what is spam. You can check your spam comments, but Akismet really is very accurate. Only a handful of comments of mine have been false. Once I marked them as “not spam” they were never mistaken again.
