Akismet – Awaiting Spam Check

  Hi! ALL of my comments, even those I’ve approved, now say ‘awaiting spam check.’ When I click on those words I get this: ‘Akismet was unable to check this comment (response: invalid) but will automatically retry later.’ I don’t know what Akismet is or how to fix this problem.

  How terrible! Akismet is the spam detector offered by Automattic used on WordPress.com sites and in Jetpack services for self-hosted WordPress sites. Check out their homepage here…

  I see your site is hosted with Bluehost and uses the self-hosted WordPress installation from WordPress.org. Unfortunately, these forums you are in are for sites hosted at WordPress.com and we cannot help you here.
