akismet blocking my comments

“Akismet has protected your site from 10 spam comments already, but there’s nothing in your spam queue at the moment.”
i have never seen these comments and was never able to unmark or mark them as spam! and i have blog visitors that are complaining that their comments arent appearing!!
im a very small blog right now, and willing to manage 10 comments per week! how can i disable or see my comments!if its protecting my site from spam! why arent they in the queue???
and dont lecture me about how it protects me from wasting my time, i’m willing to waste my time, if it allows the blogs comments to reach the page.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can go to Settings > Discussion and check the option “Don’t discard spam on old posts” to get a chance to review all comments that Akismet catches from the Spam section of your dashboard.
Comments already caught can’t be brought back I’m afraid.

I already did that!, the numbers still increasing without me being able to access it! I just opened my dashboard this mornin and it says : “Akismet has protected your site from 15 spam comments already, but there’s nothing in your spam queue at the moment.”
thats two more comments since last night and there’s nuthing in my spam queue to check still! -
@blkbtrfli WordPress.com automatically deletes spam from the biggest spam factories. That’s why your spam counter sometimes goes up without anything to show in your spam folder.
