Akismet ID in byline

  If you visit my site (eriksbates.wordpress.com), and click the author link in the byline of a post, you’ll see that the the resulting url is

  http://eriksbates.wordpress.com/author/akismet-2011cac68916e6647018ecba20ef3fe0/

  Is there any way to make that url point to my username (eriksbates) instead of that obnoxioiusly long akismet id?

  You just need to edit your nickname at Users -> Personal Settings in your Dashboard.

  There is no nickname field under Users -> Personal Settings, or under the Profile Details link, or on my Gravatar profile. All fields are filled in, but my author link still points to an Akismet ID.
